About

EveryStep is an Iowa nonprofit health care and human services organization providing compassionate care and support to individuals and families through many stages of life. Services include hospice and home health care, community health programs, grief and loss support, and a variety of resources designed to strengthen individuals, families, and communities.

For Southeast Iowa, EveryStep provides hospice services through its Mount Pleasant team, which serves Jefferson, Keokuk, Henry, Des Moines, Lee, Louisa, Van Buren, and Washington counties. Hospice care can be provided wherever a patient calls home, including a private residence, nursing home, or assisted living community. EveryStep's interdisciplinary hospice teams provide personalized care and support for patients and their families, with staff available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

EveryStep also provides community health and family support programs across Iowa, connecting individuals with health education, resources, and services based on their needs. Through compassionate care, practical assistance, and community-based programs, EveryStep works to support Iowans during some of life's most important and challenging moments.
