Founded in 2021 by owner Janelle, JR Ranch is a welcoming, family-run ranch in rural Iowa committed to matching clients with their ideal horses and providing a top-notch equestrian experience. Whether you’re new to riding or a seasoned enthusiast, JR Ranch offers a wide range of services:
Riding Lessons & Horsemanship Training – Learn grooming, saddle and tack use, as well as basic/advanced riding skills in a safe and supportive environment.
Horse Sales & Brokerage – From selection to placement, JR Ranch helps clients find their perfect “forever” horse .
Horse Boarding & Training Programs – Full stall-and-pasture boarding combined with hands-on training sessions, including use of a 120-ft round pen.
Custom Horsemanship Services – Tailored training plans for both horses and riders, as well as grooming and tack handling instruction .
Retail & Custom Orders – Purchase ranch-branded merchandise and custom equine supplies through their shop and “Custom Order” service.
